Critical Thinking. Dynamic Approach. Practical Solutions.
Joe Iwanicki recently joined Pelletier Litigation as an articling student. During law school, Joe actively sought opportunities to practically apply his legal education. This included two research assistant positions one of which involved assisting an NGO with an international commercial negligence claim in the mining industry. The other consisted of marking and assisting with teaching the Fundamental Legal Skills course to first year law students. In addition, Joe served as a student editor of the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law, a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal. A Dean’s List recipient, he was also recognized as the top of his class in both Civil Procedure and International Trade Law.
Prior to his passion for law, Joe’s entrepreneurial spirit and business sense combined with his love of sports cars lead to starting his own import company that specialized in introducing rare Japanese sports cars to the North American market.
